FNB Nepal team met with Hon’ble Shisir Khanal, Minister for Foreign Affairs today at Singa Darbar, Kathmandu to submit the letter of appeal for the ratification of Treaty on Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW). Nepal is the signatory state of TPNW and has supported in TPNW negoatiation process as well as attending following meetings related to TPNW. However, Nepal has not ratify the treaty yet. FNB Nepal has been working for nuclear disarament since 2014 and TPNW ratficiation since 2017.
