Informed Migration Cycle | Community Migration School

On 2nd June, 2026 FNB Nepal successfully organized two Community Migration Schools at Kalika Secondary School and Janajyori Namuna Secondary School in collaboration with IOM and Chandrapur Municipality under the leadership of schools’ principal. The sessions were conducted to make aspirants migrants like higher secondary school students informed about safer migration pathways and legal migration channels.

A total of 116 students among them 77  were female and 39 were male. Key discussion includes regular migration pathways, risks of using irregular channels like human trafficking, smuggling, forced labor, online scams, visit visa scams and the intersection of climate change and importance of legal migration pathways. Students were asked several G.K. questions to make sessions more informative and interactive.
