On 22nd April, 2026 to facilitate an awareness and advocacy campaign, FNB Nepal successfully conducted ‘Community Mobile Clinic’ in ward no. 10 of Chandrapur Municipality. The Clinic was carried out in collaboration with IOM and Chandrapur Municipality under the leadership of Ward President.
A total of 230 individuals actively participated among them 213 were females and 17 were males. Key discussion includes the migration, foreign employment and its effects seen in the communities, risks associated using irregular channels, linkage between climate change and labor migration. The facilitation also provided the legal information on labor migration and responded to the queries with legal consultation and tailored referrals of community people. IEC materials were disseminated to ensure sustained community awareness, informed and right based decisions about labor migration.
