Safer Migration Pathways for Community People through Community Mobile Clinic in Kolhavi, Bara.

On 8th and 9th January 2026, as part of the Safer Steps to Gulf: Migration with Dignity initiative, FNB Nepal successfully conducted a Community Mobile Clinic in ward numbers 3 and 9 of Kolhavi Municipality of Bara district. These clinics were carried out in collaboration with IOM and relevant stakeholders under the presidency of Ward Chairperson.

These Clinics were conducted to promote a safe, orderly and regular migration. Key discussions include, foreign employment procedures, risks such as human trafficking, forced labour, online job scams and visit visa frauds. Altogether, 123 individuals among them 63women and 60 men actively participated gaining  critical insights into migrant workers’ rights and importance of legal migration Channel to ensure fair and ethical migration pathways.
