From 3rd – 4th Jan, 2026 as part of the Safer Steps to Gulf: Migration with Dignity initiative, FNB Nepal successfully conducted a Community Mobile Clinic in 2, 6 & 7 wards of Kanepokhari Rural Municipality. These clinics were carried out in collaboration with IOM and Kanepokhari Rural Municipality under the presidency of Ward Chairperson.
These Clinics were conducted to promote a safe, orderly and regular migration. Key discussions include, foreign employment procedures, risks such as human trafficking, forced labour, online job scams and visit visa frauds. Altogether, 174 individuals among them 109 women and 65 men actively participated gaining critical insights into migrant workers’ rights and importance of legal migration Channel to ensure fair and ethical migration pathways.
