Forum for Nation Building (FNB) Nepal in coordination with Mediation Council of Nepal completed 8 days (48 Hours) basic mediation training. The training involved 22 participants (9 female and 13 male) who were cultured on fundamental notions of Alternative Dispute Resolution, process, steps and techniques of mediation, tools of mediation for social justice and value, ethics, role and duties of mediator. The trainings sessions involved brainstorming, theoretical and practical techniques of learning to acquire and practice the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to successfully perform and realize their roles as prospective mediators in the near future. With the completion of the training, the participants were provided with certificates of recognition in gracious presence of Deepak Kumar Karki, Hon’ble Justice at Supreme Court of Nepal and Chairperson at Mediation Council of Nepal.
