COMMUNITY MOBILE LEGAL CLINIC FOR EARTHQUAKE SURVIORS

Since the megalithic earthquake of 2015, FNB Nepal has been endlessly involved in providing legal support to the earthquake survivors establishing 309 CMLC and directly meeting more than 25000 people over 11 of the hard-hit districts.

CMLC is an original concept of the organization where a team of lawyers and law students reach out to the communities and doorsteps of the survivors to convey regarding the existing law and policies and also provide consultations on their personal or collective legal complexities.

FNB Nepal considers that legal awareness is the basic foundation for enhancing and ensuring access to justice of the population where the organization sets up interactive mobile legal stations as to provide the population with early information and consult on complex legal problems.
