From February 21-22, 2023 FNB organized an intensive discussion and interactive program among political parties and youth leaders from youth wings at Nagarkot Bhaktapur. This intensive interaction was about nuclear disarmament, peace and global politics.The aim of the interaction program was to discuss Nepal’s position on TPNW, humanitarian impact of nuclear weapons, urgent need for the ratification of TPNW. This session also highlighted Nepal’s contribution on peacekeeping operations and global peace as well as contribution towards the creation of TPNW. The Key Speakers of this
session are: Advocate, Nirmal Kumar Upreti and Dr. Prakash Bhatta. The youth provided us with positive feedback and are also interested to work with FNB Nepal and other global events organized by ICAN.
